The HHPS welcomes Christopher F. Meindl as our November Guest Speaker.
Professor and author Christopher Meindl will join us to discuss the history and geology of Florida's springs.

Florida’s springs have long been a fascinating, attractive, but often misunderstood part of the landscape. Professor Meindl examines how Florida springs function; problems in springs (including hypotheses that might explain these problems); and efforts to restore springs—as well as this presentation’s focus on historic uses of Florida's springs including the development of springs policy since 1999.
