November Garden Lecture: One Garden, Two Gardeners
John Buettner will share his experiences growing most of the usual fruits and vegetables for this area as as exotic varieties. He will share what works; what doesn’t; and what tastes good, bad, and in between.
Learn what tools you need for Kiwi vines, how Jujube may end up being the fruit everyone will be growing, the weirdness of Ogeechee limes, and why Roselle is a handy plant that is easy to grow in the right conditions.
The lecture kicks off at 10:30 a.m. in Cullman Performance Hall at the North Carolina History Center.
