Cozy up with creativity at the November Art Stroll at The Local Artisan Collective! This month, we’re thrilled to feature Jackie and her stunning mixed media art and handmade journals. Come explore her inspiring work, enjoy live demos, and shop a variety of unique, local creations. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and support the arts!
Art Stroll is on Friday, November 7th, 2025! The store will be open late from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with the store being open until 10pm for shopping.
Our Featured Artist is Jackie Archibald from Journey Bound Designs.
Jackie Archibald, owner of Journey Bound Designs, is a mixed media artist who loves the freedom and challenge of using various materials to create unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. Her journals are filled with durable 98# mixed media paper, perfect for graphite, marker, ink and colored pencils. They can be used for self-expression, as a diary or as an art journal to explore thoughts, feelings and ideas. The beads and embellishments are hand-sewn into the covers, whenever possible to ensure a long lasting and cherished keepsake.

Classes and Events happening during the Art Stroll:
-6:00 to 9:00: Meet Jackie Archibald plus.....FREE: Make and Take mini notebooks-customers can choose precut paper and learn how to cover a notebook with an inspirational message. She will also be showcasing mixed media nutcrackers, wood Christmas trees and ornaments. So cool to see these! PLUS, 20% off for this night only! Find her by the front south windows.
-6:00 to 9:00: Mike will be blowing glass and creating amazing lampwork pieces. Stop by to watch him make ornamants....fantastic to see in person! Find him in the glassblowing studio.
-6:00 to 9:00: Glass Etch a Thanksgiving Plate or Cup with some fun sayings like: Grateful, You have been Poisoned and more! Drop in between 6 and 9 (you must start your project by 8pm to be finished in time). Prices start at $20 per item and $10 each additional item you make. Find Stephanie and Lance from Our Children's Earth in the Textile Studio.
-6:00 to 9:00 Get a head start for the holidays with Jenny with Aunt GGs will bring in her Christmas pillow case dresses for your littles! These were made from actual pillow cases mostly vintage with a few contemporary ones. Sizes range from 12months to 5T. In addition, they grow with the child from a long dress to a short dress then a tunic. Definitely get your money's worth out of them.
In addition, all of her pillow case dresses will be $5 off.

-6:00 to 9:00: Simple Life Preschool will be showcasing their amazing Harvest Art Project! SimpleLife is an Art and Nature inspired preschool. As part of the children's hands-on, experiential exploration of nature, each class grows their own vegetable garden. During the harvest season, students pick produce that they have grown and create a "Harvest Still-life" painting. Observing and handling their subject matter is a valuable mindfulness practice as well. What a joy to get to view items through our children's eyes!
