November 21: Pottery Pau Hana: Create Your Own Functional Pottery

Choose from 10 pottery projects, then hand-build and decorate your own functional piece during a relaxing evening on our garden lanai.
About this Event

Spend a relaxing and creative evening on the garden lanai at Waikīkī Community Center with artist and instructor Apryl Binuya! Whether you bring a friend or come on your own, you’ll feel welcome—and no pottery experience is necessary.

Choose one of 10 functional pottery projects and make it uniquely yours:

• Sake Set
• Lei Vase
• Kalo Platter
• Matcha Set
• Hanging Vase
• Stoneware Loaf Pan
• Monstera Platter
• Flower Basket
• Banana Leaf Platter
• Coffee Cup & Pour Over

Using a provided template, you’ll cut the clay, assemble your piece, decorate it, and apply glaze. Personalize your creation with stencils, predesigned transfers, freehand painting, and your own creativity. Apryl will guide you through the entire process, making this workshop approachable and enjoyable for beginners.

After the workshop, your piece will be professionally fired and ready for pickup at Waikīkī Community Center within approximately two weeks.
