Our second of three 2026 open house events will be held on 14 and 15 November at our 144-year-old Milwaukee & Northern depot at 323 W. Forest Ave. in Neenah, Wis. We will welcome visitors on Saturday the 14th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Sunday the 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, donations are appreciated. Check out the Open House page of our web site (https://www.mnrhs.org/about/annual-open-house/) for more information.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it on 14 or 15 November, our third 2026 open house will be held on our traditional open house weekend, 5 and 6 December.
These two events will likely be the last two held at our rare and beloved depot’s original site. For those who haven’t already heard, we must move our depot by June. In order for that to be possible, we need to raise a substantial amount of money, several hundred thousand dollars, in a short amount of time.
If we do not raise the money, we will not just lose this historic depot. Sixty-two years of work on our O-scale, 2-rail model railroad, will also be lost.
Those who are able to offer financial assistance can find a donation button on the Support page of our web site (https://www.mnrhs.org/support/). If you happen to know someone who has more money than they know what to do with, or if you know someone with experience in preserving historic buildings, please let them know about us.
Thank you for your support.
