NoVA CAT Cookie Swap
About this Event
Join the Northern Virginia Community Action Team (NoVA CAT) at Solace Brewing Co. for a cookie swap, some hot chocolate, and a few wintery activities.
Attendees should bring about 24 cookies (or another dessert that doesn't need refrigeration) and a second container to bring home swapped cookies. (There will also be ziploc bags available. .) Everyone will set up their cookies, and later will walk down the line of treats and fill a container to take home. We'll have paper available for folks to label their treats with potential allergens.
The event will begin at 12:30, and we'll begin the swap at around 1 pm. Folks can then do activities, get some food from the delish Solace menu, and meet new friends.
This event is totally free to attend and everyone is welcome. There will be an optional opportunity to donate a few dollars to Loudoun Hunger Relief. There will also be information on NoVA CAT and our mission to protect our rights and those of our community members.
No need to bake - store-bought treats are perfectly fine <3
