Back once again, Chester Odd Fellows lodge No. 281 is grinding sausage!
For those uninitiated to our grinds, "Odd Sausage" is our public offering of homemade ground sausage as a fundraiser. All of our sausage is ground with premium Boston butt and a custom blend of spices. No fillers or scrap meat.
As always, this is a pre-sale grind. we will start selling the sausage at Chesterfest, Sept 27th. and end sales the first week of November.
We will grind everything and pack it to be picked up November 16th at 5:00 p.m. the location for the pickup will be 12140 Harrowgate Road. For folks that have lived in the area a good while, this is the old Chester Library that is now the home of Chester Lodge 281.
The flavors that we will offer are Mild, Hot, Extra Hot 🔥, Sage, Maple 🍁 Brown Ssugar and Zesty Italian. Every flavor is packed in 2 lb bags and sold for $12 cash or $12.50 Venmo. If paying by Venmo, please send to:

Chesterfest marks the kickoff of our fall sale and will continue through the beginning of November. feel free to respond on the event page or by private message what you would like and we will write up your receipt upon receiving your payment. this year we will be donating all profit from this grind to the Walk out of Darkness campaign in which Odd Fellows is a Statewide sponsor. This walk is centered around mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Feel free to come out to Chesterfest September 27th and try samples cooked fresh on our flat top! we promise you it will be some of the best you have ever experienced! This would make an awesome gift for anyone that is a sausage fan for the holidays! This grind will be just ahead of Thanksgiving and Christmas! Stock up so you and your loved ones can make sausage balls, homemade biscuits and gravy, homemade sausage stuffing and just about any other dish where a top shelf sausage would compliment the meal!
Keep in mind a few things... We cap our grinds at 2000lbs TOTAL weight across all six flavors! It is important that you order as promptly as possible to ensure we can fit what you want in. second, it is absolutely imperative that everyone pick up their sausage on November 16th at 5:00 p.m. from our lodge Hall. if you cannot make it, please get someone else to come pick up your order that day! We do not have freezer space large enough to hold anyone's orders. if they are not picked up on November 16th, they will be considered a donation to be resold, no if ands or... butts 🐖.
