An extension health and wellness educator will demonstrate how to prepare a fresh kale salad and offer a tasting, highlighting simple, nutritious ways to incorporate this leafy green into everyday meals. Participants will leave with practical knowledge, new ideas, and a packet of seeds along with freshly harvested kale to enjoy at home.
This program is part of a grant-funded series for Lebanon County seniors interested in the YMCA Community Garden and will be a pickup location for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers.
This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
