Nourishing the Mother is a comprehensive guide to postpartum healing for lifelong physical, mental, and hormonal health. Taught by Dr. Katie of Compass Chiropractic, a mama of 2 and an Innate Postpartum Care certified practitioner - she is passionate about helping moms THRIVE in motherhood.
Key elements of class include the cross-cultural pillars of postpartum wellness along with the modern science of why it’s so important. We will discuss an extended resting period, proper nourishment, the importance of warmth, bodywork, and community support as essential to postpartum healing and vitality.
Through class, you will gain the necessary tools to create a postpartum plan that will work for you and your family.
Each mom will go home with some postpartum essentials to help get her care started.
This class is for pregnant moms and her spouse/support person; whoever will be there to help her in the initial postpartum period.
Class size is limited to 5 couples. To reserve your spot, please private venmo your payment to @Katie-Swystun with the word “nourish” along with your email address and date that you wish to attend. Cost of class is 200. Compass moms receive 25% off for a total of 150.
