Join us in person for the Nourish Newark 5K Nourish Newark: Walk for Wellness is a community 5K fundraiser focused on healing, health, and economic wellness. Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026, as we walk to raise funds for the next Heal the Block West Ward initiative happening in July. From food deserts to food power, this movement brings the city together through wellness, community support, and access to healthier living. Hosted by Danielle and powered by Newark’s local wellness businesses, we fuel the city—one step at a time. See you there!

Info: Nourish Newark: 5K Walk for Wellness, “We Fuel the City – From Food Deserts to Food Power,” begins Sunday, May 24, 2026, with line-up and fuel-up at 9:00 AM at Aqua Phit Water Bar & Luxury Gym, located at 547 Central Avenue, Newark, NJ. The walk officially starts at 9:30 AM and moves through the heart of the community, first stopping at Source of Knowledge at 867 Broad Street for the “Fuel the Mind” stop, where participants can support the bookstore, purchase books, and highlight the importance of knowledge in healing our communities. From there, the route continues up William Street toward Springfield Avenue, creating strong city visibility, then reaches the Springfield Avenue and Bergen Street area for a hydration and donation stop at the park on the corner, serving as a community checkpoint and awareness station. The final leg continues down Bergen Street to Clinton Avenue, ending at Plants & Poets Cafe at 505 Clinton Avenue for the closing ceremony, rest, brunch, and awards.
