Notting Hill Carnival is coming. Is your waistline ready?
Every year, millions of people hit the streets of West London for the biggest carnival in Europe — and every year, people wish they'd practiced their whine before they got there. This class is your warm-up.
The Notting Hill Carnival Waistline Warm Up is a 90-minute beginner-friendly Caribbean dance class designed to get your body moving, your hips unlocked and your confidence up just in time for carnival weekend. Whether you're heading to NHC 2026 or just want to move like you are, this class is for you.
Led by the incredible Sophia (@esperancexo on Instagram), this session covers the foundational waistline movements that make carnival dancing feel natural, joyful and completely yours.
What to expect:
🌈 Waistline Foundations — hip isolation, pelvic control and rhythmic flow broken down clearly for all bodies
🎉 Carnival Movement — soca, dancehall and afrobeats-inspired choreography that captures the spirit of the road
💃 Full Warm-Up Routine — a complete routine you can take straight to the streets of Notting Hill
