Not Loud Concerts presents… Powerhouse Ladies!

On March 13th at All Saints Episcopal Church in San Leandro, the folks from Not Loud Concerts present Powerhouse Ladies. In honor of Women’s History Month, three amazing female singers will join forces for a concert presented in the round - the singers will take turns trading off songs, all while on stage together.

Each fantastic singer leads a band of their own, but for this special performance they’ll be doing acoustic renditions of their music in a wildly diverse program at the historic All Saints Church church.

Rebecca Roudman of Dirty Cello is known for her wild blues and rock, Jessica Malone blends soulful lyrics with sultry sounds and Ellie James performs lush indie-pop with a rock ’n’ roll edge. Variety, depth and the unfettered female voice are the name of the game for one night only.

Not Loud Concerts focus on creating an experience that is casual and fun for both the musicians and the audience. The concerts are never too long, never too expensive and of course never too loud. This is a fully seated show in an intimate environment in a beautiful and acoustically lush redwood church.

What are Not Loud Concerts?

Not Loud Concerts was inspired by numerous jokes on the internet about wanting to go see a concert that was, “Not too loud, not too late, not too long and not too expensive.”

With this idea in mind, Not Loud Concerts was created to showcase music based on the following principles:

• Not too loud
• Comfortable seating
• No hidden fees or crazy ticket prices
• Good parking whenever possible
• Not too long

These concerts are created for the enjoyment of the audience and are not based on old traditions.

What to expect:

At a Not Loud Concert the band will perform for around an hour with no intermission. The concerts will feature outstanding musicians performing in a lightly amplified manner with primarily acoustic instruments. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.
