THROUGH KC’S WORK, WE ARE REMINDED THAT NOSTALGIA IS NOT JUST A RETURN—IT IS A DIALOGUE WITH WHAT SHAPES US, LINGERS WITHIN US, AND CONTINUES TO GUIDE US FORWARD.

NOSTALGIA: ECHOES OF YESTERDAY IS A MEDITATION ON THE WAYS MEMORY SHAPES US. IT HONORS BLACK HISTORY AND CULTURE, WHILE ALSO EMBRACING THE UNIVERSAL LONGING TO HOLD ONTO WHAT WE LOVE AND THE ACHE OF WHAT SLIPS AWAY. EACH PIECE IS BOTH PERSONAL AND COMMUNAL, INVITING VIEWERS TO REFLECT ON THEIR OWN ECHOES OF THE PAST.
