Back by popular demand, the Old Franklin Schoolhouse is hosting a showing of the classic 1922 silent film “Nosferatu,” scored live by Cody McCorry’s Nosferatu ensemble on Mischief Night, October 30, 2025 at 7pm (6:30pm Doors, 7pm Show) at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Avenue, Metuchen. This is the 10th Anniversary of these wildly popular Nosferatu Live-Scored by McCorry.
Cody McCorry’s Nosferatu ensemble is a bizarre subset of We Used to Cut Grass, and has been live scoring the film annually for the past 8 years. The ensemble consists of Daimon Santa Maria (flute, accordion), Jon Francis (guitarviol, crippling fear of horses), Mike Noordzy (contra alto clarinet, harmonica, balloon), Ben Karas (violin, 6.66% chance of sleeves), Cody McCorry (piano, bass, theremin, hand saw), Kevin Grossman (percussion and 4D hyper-realistic horse effects).
Tickets are $22 Advance (1.50 cc fee), $25 Door (if available). All tickets are Will Call, and a confirmation email will be sent after purchase from [email protected]. Parking available along Middlesex Avenue and across the street at Borough Hall.
