Damore Motorsports and Kenosha R/C are bringing Losi NASCAR racing action to the Norwood Park National Night Out hosted by the Chicago Police Department 16th District!
This annual family-friendly community event features an antique car show, family-friendly activities, giveaways, food, and live entertainment. Attendees also get to engage with local first responders, featuring units like the mounted police, canine unit, crime lab, and police helicopter.
***Due to street closures for the event, if you plan on setting up a table and tent for your pit, load-in must be completed before 4PM. You may arrive after 4PM, but please be prepared to walk with your equipment from your parking space to the event, we recommend pitting out of a backpack. ***
Practice: 4:00 PM
Event Start Time/Racing Begins: 5:00 PM
Classes (Due to time restraints and to allow kids and spectators the chance to try the cars in-between rounds, we are only running two classes. Rules listed below):
-Losi NASCAR (Box Stock)
-ARRMA Mojave (Box Stock)

===CLASS RULES===
Losi NASCAR (Box Stock)
-These are "Box Stock" classes. All parts must remain as the manufacturer intended unless otherwise permitted in the rules listed below.
The Box Stock & Rookie classes will all run the same exact rules, but must adjust the throttle limiter on the back of the Spektrum SLT2 radio to the proper percentage based on the class
-Box Stock- 100%
-Rookie - 50% (Rookie Class)
Chassis:
-Stock Losi Tub Chassis
-No added weight, anywhere or of any kind.
-No cutting or grinding the chassis or any of the parts that attach to it for any reason. The top deck/center brace must remain in tack as delivered from the factory. All the screws must be used in the top deck/center brace.
-M4 washers may be used on the screws under the front splitter to keep the screws from pulling through the bumper. The screw head must not stick out past the outer part of the splitter.
Electronics:
-Stock electronics only
-Radio: Spektrum SLT2
-ESC/Receiver: Spektrum 2-in-1
-SPMXSE3125RX (1st Gen, Y-adapter needed for Transponder)
-SPMXSE3325RX (2nd Gen "Earnhardt Cars", no Y-adapter needed)
-Servo: Spektrum SX110 SPMSSX110
-Battery: Spektrum SPMX142S30HS 1400mAh
-Motor: Losi 28T 380 Sized Brushed Motor
-Motor Fan: Any 25mm fan is allowed, fan shrouds are not allowed
Gearing / Motor Plate:
-Stock 59T spur, 19T pinion gears
Shocks:
-Any shock oil may be used. No internal limiters are allowed. The stock 2.5mm bump stop is the only bump stop allowed. There must be 10mm between the bottom of the shock and the eyelet when fully extended and the shock must be able to compress all the way to the 2.5mm bump stop. Original black springs only, no upgrade springs, no cutting the springs.
Differentials:
-Grease may be changed in the differentials but must remain free spinning. For tech, we will be spinning the tires, they must cause a differential action in the opposite tire without spinning the motor over. If you spin a tire by hand and the motor spins, then the differential isn't legal.

-Losi/Proline Racing stock car bodies only, no other manufacturers (SuperRad, Exotek, McAllister, etc.) Proline Racing Dodge Viper bodies are not allowed.
-Proline Racing NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Bodies not allowed in Cup or Grand National, they will only be permitted to be used in the Losi NASTRUCK (Brushless) class.
-Any paint scheme is allowed but a racing theme is encouraged. You must have a number on the roof and door panels.
-The body must be in the stock location and height. No trimming or lighting the body.

-Any weight shock oil
-Gluing the sidewall of the tires is permitted
-Any 25mm fan is allowed

-Radio: Any Spektrum Radio may be paired with the stock electronics or you may use the stock Spektrum SLT2
-ESC/Receiver: Spektrum 2-in-1 - SPMXSE2625RX (Y-adapter needed for Transponder)
-Servo: Spektrum SX110 SPMSSX110
-Battery: Spektrum SPMX142S30HS 1400mAh
-Motor: ARRMA 28T 380 Sized Brushed Motor
-Motor Fan: Any 25mm fan is allowed
Gearing / Motor Plate:
-59t spur, 19T pinion gear

-Upgraded ARRMA metal gear diffs are allowed. Grease may be changed in the differentials but must spin freely, no locked diffs.
-The body must be in the stock location and height. Full Interior and driver figures are required. No trimming or lightening the body.
