About this Event

Between 9 July 1940 and 6 November 1943, Norwich was subjected to 44 bombing raids, resulting in the loss of 340 civilian lives and the destruction of numerous homes, factories, shops, places of worship and public houses. The heaviest bombing was in April 1942 on two nights (separated by just one night's respite), which became known as the Norwich Blitz. This tour will explore how it changed the medieval city forever.
