Join Northwinds for a program of classics, pops, marches, and new works for band. We'll celebrate our nation's 250th birthday with Gould's classic "American Salute" and the "George Washington Bicentennial March" by Sousa. Enjoy a nod to Mel Brooks in his centennial year with music from "The Producers." You will also get tributes to musician/songwriters Irving Berlin, Billy Joel, and Chuck Mangione; a nod to 80's band A-Ha with our version of "Take on Me;" a tip of the hat to the Olympics; new music from Rossano Galante; and special music selected for Northwinds' tour to Germany this June - "St. Louis Blues" and "Germania Marsch."
