Northwest Louisiana Out of the Darkness Community Walk

Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Louisiana Chapter for the annual Northwest Louisiana Out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Community members from across the region will join at Betty Virginia Park in Shreveport to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. Our event is an opportunity to find a supportive community of people who get it, to know you're not alone, and to make a difference together.
Funds raised at the Out of the Darkness Northwest Louisiana Walk directly support research, advocacy efforts, and educational programs in schools, workplaces, and communities across Louisiana!
