🐥🎆 It’s that time again… our Annual Duck Derby is coming back to Northglenn this July 4th at EB Rains Memorial Park! 🎆🐥
For years, this event has brought families, neighbors, and our community together for a day full of fun, laughter, and giving back. While this year’s water shortage means we won’t be racing ducks through the canal like in years past, we’re excited to introduce a NEW duck competition that’s sure to be a blast — a fun target-practice style event featuring everyone’s favorite ducks! 🦆🎯
Not only is this event fun for the whole family, but it also serves a much bigger purpose. Every duck adopted and every dollar raised goes directly back into our local community.
Last year alone, we raised over $45,000 that went toward incredible causes including:
📚 Free books for children through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
🥫 $9,000 donated to local food banks
🏅 Student of the Month programs with Adams 12 high school students
🌲 RYLA leadership programs
💙 Support for CASA
🎓 Scholarships for local students through the Career Pathways Fund
🚨 Emergency SNAP funding assistance during government shutdown disruptions
🔥 Free smoke alarm programs for local families
And we’re always looking for new ways to serve Northglenn, Thornton, and surrounding communities — whether through local projects or partnering with other Rotary Clubs to make an even greater impact.
