Looking for a fun way to give back and connect with others? 🧶✨
If you love to knit, crochet, or sew (or would just like to chat!), come and join our friendly group of “Yarnies”! Together, we create cosy scarves, beanies, mittens, socks, blankets, and even fidget items — all lovingly donated to local organisations supporting the elderly and those doing it tough.
We meet once a month at Currambine Community Centre for plenty of laughs, idea-sharing, and good company. You can contribute to our “Yarnie Bank” with donated yarn and fidget items, or take home materials to help bring your next project to life. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where you can craft, chat, and make a real difference.
No experience? No problem! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, there’s always someone happy to help, teach, or inspire.
Best of all — it’s completely FREE! (And let’s be honest… that’s pretty rare these days!)
We also gratefully accept donations of unwanted 8-ply acrylic yarn, fabric, and haberdashery. 💛
