Northern Virginia Native Plants for Landscape Professionals Conference

Registration will begin at 8:30 AM with programming starting at 9AM. The event is at Merrifield Garden Center - Fair Oaks location at 12101 Route 29, Fairfax, VA 22030.

This 8th annual conference is for professionals in the landscaping industry only(landscape designers, landscape architects, crews, growers, nurseries, landscape maintenance, property managers, builders, etc.)

You are welcome to either pay online or pay at the door. If you pay in person, please bring exact change for the entry fee ($35) or a check in the exact amount made out to Northern Virginia Bird Alliance. About our speakers:

Jessica Frakes is a Potomac Valley Watershed and Virginia Native Horticulturist at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.

Michael Fahey has been a plant specialist and operations manager at Merrifield Garden Center for 20 years. He is also an ISA Certified Arborist.​

​Keith Tomlinson managed Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia for 23 years. Now retired, he has a part time work schedule with the Smithsonian Associates, NOVA Parks and the American Horticultural Society in addition to volunteering.
