About the Artists
Rosie CQ
ROSiE CQ (Rosie Halsted) is a percussionist, singer, songwriter, writer, and sonic artist based out of Spokane, WA. She was trained as a classical percussionist, receiving a BM in Percussion Performance from the University of Montana in 2020. Rosie is most well-known in the percussion community for combining vibraphone and vocals through writing, performing, and producing accessible music using vibraphone, vocals, drums, other percussion, bass, and electronics as the primary instrumentation.
Outside of performing and writing her own music, Rosie teaches private percussion, drum, and songwriting lessons, creates custom songs, compositions, and sound design by hire, is available for remote recording sessions for mallet and auxiliary percussion, and is still active as a classical percussionist. Rosie is proudly sponsored by BlueHaus Mallet Shop whom she has a signature mallet with, and is also sponsored by Marimba One whose instruments she plays exclusively. Outside of her musical life, Rosie enjoys playing with her cat, Sanjee, lifting heavy things, walking through mountains and valleys, eating dessert, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Mel Dalton
Coeur d’Alene-based Americana singer Mel Dalton is one to watch as she builds a devout following all across the Northwest. Her rootsy and adventurous style is an engaging blend of traditional and folk tunes with modern country and pop.
Every Mel Dalton show is a party, with audience members singing and clapping along to upbeat 90’s country and 70’s pop and rock tunes, then falling under the spell of her earthy, evocative voice as she delivers soulful ballads and traditional Irish songs. Her brandy-warm tones immerse the audience in sound, drawing even casual listeners in to experience the passion she wrings from every note.
Mel’s upbeat personality and hopeful view of life shine through in her songs and her live performances. After decades of performance, she brings a steady confidence to the stage and creates a sense that she’s singing directly to each person in the room, no matter how large or small the audience.
A student of life and the human condition, Mel writes songs full of keen observations of people, and readily crosses the dividing lines of society in search of truth. She makes music that feels like home, whether you’re from a flyover state of a big city.
Mel is a perennial favorite with the Northwest Country Music Association Awards, with over a dozen nominations in several categories. She has a presence on all major social platforms, a growing catalog on streaming services, and a weekly live stream that can be viewed on YouTube. She’s easy to find, and hard to forget!

Pamela Jean
Pamela Jean is an independent, touring Singer/Songwriter and Nashville Recording Artist, that originally hails from Minnesota. Calling 6 states ‘home’ in the past 2 decades, Pamela has had some amazing experiences and shares the highs and lows of life through her music.
Starting her career with a fear of singing and a karaoke dare in 1998, she quickly overcame her stage fright, began gracing stages, journeyed into songwriting, self-taught guitar, and by 2008 she was hosting successful open mic nights in Southern California. Pamela then branched into her solo artist career and touring, which has allowed her to perform in 9 states and countless cities. Currently , she performs solo or with her band, Pamela Jean and the Boys, in Spokane and North Idaho. She is back up north for the summer after spending the 2024-2025 winter as a solo act in Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
Every one of her recorded songs has had radio play on independent stations across the US. K102 Country (Idaho), KYRS (Spokane), KPRI (San Diego), KZUU 90.7 (Pullman, WA), WNYR (New York). She has released and co-produced 4 music videos and had a full-time hand in editing her recent video for “Slip Away,” which was nominated for “Video of the Year” at the NW-CMA Awards. Most of her videos are created to bring awareness to highly fragile topics in life such as domestic violence and substance abuse. Both subjects she has battled in life.
Pamela has driven across the country with her one-eyed dog in everything from a 20-year-old Toyota Corolla leaking transmission fluid, to pulling her 23’ “home on wheels.” She is no stranger to the open road, taking life by the horns, and following her dreams. She has built her career and brand from the ground up, along with her Rockstar Jewelry Collection and photography business.
A portion of all her music proceeds go to Priest River Ministries Advocates for Women in Spirit Lake, ID. Her mission is to raise awareness and funds on domestic violence and to inspire others to flee toxic situations and NEVER look back! This is the “Pedal to the Metal” journey.
