📖 Loung Ung is best known for her powerful memoir First They Killed My Father, which chronicles her childhood under the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia and has been adapted into a Netflix film directed by Angelina Jolie. She continues to share her story worldwide as a passionate voice for human rights and peace.
