About this Event

We are excited to invite Northern Ohio eating disorder providers to our September Collaborative Meeting!

What’s Trending: The Latest Social Media Influences on Eating Disorders

Social media constantly shapes the conversations we have with our clients, from emerging diet trends, “wellness” influencers, and body image ideals to recovery content, fitness culture, and the rapid spread of misinformation.

As these platforms continue to evolve, so do the challenges and opportunities they bring into client sessions. Join fellow eating disorder professionals for an interactive discussion about what we are seeing in practice, how social media is influencing treatment, and strategies for navigating these conversations with clients.

Please come ready to participate in breakout discussion groups, where you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss challenging cases and trends, and learn from providers across disciplines.

Join Within Health, The Emily Program, The Intuitive Eating Center of Ohio, The Hull Institute, and the Northern Ohio Eating Disorder Collaborative for an evening of networking, dinner, and meaningful clinical conversation.

Dinner will be provided. Please bring business cards to share with the group.

Space is limited. RSVP today!

We look forward to seeing you there.
