The Sons & Daughters of Erin will hold the Northern Nevada Celtic Ceilidh at Reno Public Market (299 E Plumb Lane) in Midtown Reno. The event is free.
Our festival will feature the headliners Black Irish Band, Northern Nevada Celtic entertainers, pipe bands, Celtic vendors and much more. Our new location is an indoor food hall and performance space with 14+ local food vendors, a bar and retailers.

BACKGROUND:
In 2022, the Northern Nevada Celtic Celebration held a “Farewell Ceilidh” in the shared parking lot of three tavern in the Brewery District of Downtown Reno and incorporating many elements of the three-decade long festival known as the Celtic Celebration, which had to be cancelled due to skyrocketing pandemic-related overhead costs.
Our past headliners have included The Blarney Band, Dropkick Mickeys, The Fire, Golden Bough, Seamus Kennedy and Tempest. We strive to include local musicians within our local Celtic Community. We are proud to feature our local Sierra Highlanders Pipe Band.
The SADOE Board agreed to inherit the festival as a special event under the new name of “Northern Nevada Celtic Ceilidh” as the governing board of the previous festival dissolved. SADOE is pleased to continue the legacy of the Celtic Celebration and aims to keep its elements and attractions in its event as well as keep it free,
Until 2025, our festival was held in the Reno Brewery District in Downtown Reno. However, due to unpredictable weather in mid May, we decided to move our festival entirely into an indoor venue, Reno Public Market, located in the heart of Midtown Reno, which features a large stage, full bar, 14+ food vendors, convention space and plenty of free parking.
