Northern Lights Photo Meetup: Summer 2026

Northern Lights Photo Studio & Event Venue – 106 W Seeboth St, Milwaukee WI 53204 on Sunday, June 7th, at 2:00PM

We invite you to join us for a photography meetup at the Northern Lights Photo Studio & Event Venue, a luxury event creative studio and venue located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. This photography and creative networking event includes opportunities to use state-of-the-art professional lighting, backdrops, softboxes, and vanity room ready for shooting! There are both indoor studio and outdoor patio shooting locations for abundant shooting space.

One admission ticket includes 1 complimentary drink at the event venue bar. Tickets are non-refundable.

• Learn how to shoot and direct a creative studio shoot! Our meetup will begin with a studio photography demo by Pearl Nemecek of The Pearl Photography LLC (@thepearlphotography), showing you studio lighting techniques to improve your studio portrait work.
• Try on clothes and model in them! We have clothes on racks hand-picked by our featured wardrobe stylist, Maggie Mae.
• Unfinished Legacy try-on clothing rack
• Backdrops and photo stations provided by Northern Lights Photo Studio
• Hair Styling Bar by Scottfree Salon
• Permanent Jewelry & Jewelry Styling by Sofia Miller of Kismet Chains
• Field trip to the riverwalk for shooting, if weather permits.
• Film portrait station by White Knight Studio

You may just win a free 3-hour studio rental (value of $170) by submitting your photos in the photo contest within 10 days after the meetup. Post your favorite shots and don't forget to use #northernlightsphotomeetup in your caption for your chance to win!

She captures and directs an array of photographic genres including fashion editorial, beauty, product, events, and lifestyle. Learn how to make the most out of studio photography during this demo.

Info: Try on clothes and model in them! We have stylized clothing on racks by our featured wardrobe stylist, Maggie Mae, during open shooting time. Get your hair styled at Scottfree Salon's hair styling bar as well as permanent and styled jewelry by Kismet Chains.
