Northern Echoes Festival

Prepare to be submerged in a sea of fuzz, reverb, and ethereal melodies. The Northern Echoes Shoegaze Festival is set to take over the intimate and atmospheric Hebebühne in Hamburg on August 28th, gathering a stellar lineup of international and national shoegaze, dream pop, and noise-rock visionaries.

Headlining the night are Hamburg’s very own Seasurfer. Revered for their signature "dream-punk" sound, the band will blanket their hometown crowd in massive, distortion-heavy sonic landscapes paired with hauntingly beautiful vocals. As long-time staples of the European shoegaze scene, Seasurfer guarantees an intense, volume-driven live experience that pushes the boundaries of noise and melody.

Crossing the border to bring their distinct, hazy sound to the stage are Paris-based Healees. Blending driving indie-rock energy with classic shoegaze textures and shimmering guitars, the French quartet delivers a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly urgent.

Rounding out the bill and opening the festival is Hannover’s Driven By Clockwork. Known for their intricate rhythms and expansive, cinematic guitar work, the band will set the perfect mood for the evening, drawing the audience into a deep, immersive sonic journey right from the first chord.
