🎨 Morning Workshop – Painting the Northern Lights
Join Toni from Easely Does It for a peaceful, step-by-step acrylic painting session inspired by the ethereal glow of the Aurora Borealis.
Using iridescent paints and soft blending techniques, you’ll create a 40x30cm canvas filled with dancing light, shimmering skies, and tranquil winter tones.
No painting experience? No problem. Toni will gently guide you through every stage — from layering luminous colour to adding subtle sparkle — helping you capture the magic and mystery of the Northern Lights in your own unique style.
All materials are included — just bring your curiosity and a sense of wonder. ✨
Want to make a day of it? Why not stay and book the full day workshop that includes our needle felting workshop in the afternoon!
🏰 About Hughenden & The National Trust
This special workshop takes place at the National Trust’s Hughenden Estate, a place where history, creativity, and nature intertwine.
Once home to Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, Hughenden later served a secret role during WWII as a map-making base. Today, it stands as one of the Chiltern Hills’ most inspiring estates, with sweeping parkland, peaceful woodlands, and gothic charm.
Managed by the National Trust, Hughenden is dedicated to protecting and sharing Britain’s heritage — a perfect setting for a creative morning filled with calm, colour, and inspiration. 🌲🌌
☕ After the Workshop
After your painting session, why not treat yourself to something delicious from the National Trust Café (not included in your ticket)?
You’ll also have time to explore the house and gardens — free for National Trust members or payable separately for non-members.
🚗 Arrival Details
Please arrive by 10:00 AM and park in the visitors’ car park.
