Connecticut's biggest card show is back! The Northeast Sports Card Expo: Stamford will take place at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club on Saturday, May 4 from 10am-6pm and Sunday, May 5 from 9am-4pm.
With 30,000 square feet of exhibition space, the family-friendly event will feature 250+ vendor tables, and attendees will have access to a large range of new and vintage sports cards, as well as non-sports and Pokémon cards, Funkos, sports memorabilia, all kinds of collectibles, and much more!
The show will also feature meet-and-greet celebrity autograph signings with sports legends, on-site card-grading services, prize raffles, sports mascots, daily announcer hosts and much, much more.
Live on-site grading by TGA, The Grading Authority; Revolution Card Grading will be taking grading submissions, and CAS: Certified Authentication Services will provide Premier Certification, Primary Certification and Semi-Rigid Certification.
Autograph guests appearing at the event include UConn Men’s basketball players and 2024 NCAA champions Solomon Ball & Jaylin Stewart, NBA champ and former Chicago Bulls player Scott Burrell, 2x NBA Champ Wes Matthews, Wrestling Hall of Famer Tony "The Pharaoh" Ricca, #1 Pro Welterweight UFC Fighter Billy Goff, Pro Women’s Hockey League New York star player Alex Carpenter, stars of the ‘70s hockey movie classic SLAP SHOT Mark Bousquet & Christopher Murney, former Hartford Whalers hockey player Norm Barnes and more. Attendees will receive free autographs of Bousquet, Carpenter, Goff and Matthews, with paid admission, on the days of their respective appearances.
The first 200 attendees will receive a free commemorative official show poster, designed by Connecticut-based artist Eric Panke.
Day 1 will be hosted by father/son podcasting duo Mike and Joseph from the Sliders & Curveballs podcast and Day 2 will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning New York Mets announcer and Stamford native Colin Cosell.
Sports mascots appearing will include Yale University canine mascot Handsome Dan, Hartford Athletic Dillon as well as an appearance from Pikachu from the Pokemon franchise. On Star Wars Day (May the 4th) Darth Vader and Chewbacca will both make an appearance.
