Northbrook Art in the Park makes its triumphant return for its4th consecutive year to the heart of downtown Northbrook at Village Green Park on Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, just in time for Mother's Day weekend!
Located in a beautiful park under large oak trees, Northbrook Art in the park is the perfect place to give Mom the gift of art! Explore the works of over 80 artists, showcasing a diverse array of paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, photography, and much more, ensuring you'll find the perfect present to celebrate her special day.
Admission is free and the park is wheel friendly with access for wheelchairs and strollers, leashed dogs are welcome!
Live music in the gazebo, activities for kids, painting classes, selfie stations, and the brand new “Kids Art Stop” where artists invite children to stop at their booth to learn more about the art-making process, add to the family-friendly vibe of this event.
Festival food on site and several restaurants just steps away from the artists’ booths will ensure that no one goes hungry! Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing.
Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s charitable partner, which this year is the Chicago Furniture Bank.
