Northampton Heritage Bus Tours 2026

As part of the annual and, national, English Heritage - Heritage Open Days events, we are delighted once again to be hosting (with our partners West Northamptonshire Council, with support from Northampton Town Council and Discover Northamptonshire) our annual Northampton Heritage Bus Tours.
Over two days of 19th & 20th September we will be providing tours with classic buses, mostly Northamptonshire connected vehicles to a destinations throughout Northampton and the part of the shire that falls under "West Northamptonshire".
The tours will be to places and events that are open as part of Heritage Open Days. Details of places open can be found on the Discover Northamptonshire and Heritage Open Days websites.
HOD's is a ten day festival and not all places of interest will coincide with our two days of operation. However, we will be visiting places including Brixworth, Weedon and Towcester as well as places in Northampton too.
In addition, this year we will be running two bus tours around the town - Monuments & Memorials of Northampton and Shoemaking History, visiting sites of interest around the town with a simple guide to the locations visited enroute.
