Northampton County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Symposium

Welcome to the Northampton County CIT Symposium! Join us for a day filled with insightful discussions, learning, and networking opportunities at Northampton Community College.

Symposium sessions will include:

• personal stories from individuals with lived experience
• Law Enforcement Officers personal stories of their experience working with individuals with mental illness
• officer self care
• opportunities to provide feedback from an Officer's perspective on the CIT training and what changes can be made to make it even more useful in the field
• panel discussion with those in behavioral health

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This event is designed for Law Enforcement Officers, Corrections Officers, and those in the mental health community who have completed the 40 hour CIT training.

There is no cost to register and is provided through funding from Northampton County Mental Health.
