Join Representative Shane Abbott for a public town hall meeting to learn more about the proposed property tax amendment that will appear on the November ballot.

This meeting is intended to provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from local government and community leaders about how the proposed amendment could affect their organizations, local services, and our communities. Representatives from county and city governments, sheriff's offices, fire departments, emergency services, special taxing districts, and other local entities that receive property tax revenue have been invited to share information and answer questions. Their presentations may discuss positive impacts, potential concerns, or a combination of both.

Representative Abbott will moderate the discussion to ensure a respectful and informative conversation and will assist with questions from the audience throughout the evening.
