Excited to finally be able to bring this program to you, we’re getting ready to present this concert full of collaboration, dialogue and reflection. This concert features throat songs written by Nikki Komaksiutiksak and performed by Caramello Swan, as well as music for violas and percussion played by Melody McKiver, Jennifer Thiessen and Ben Reimer. New collaborations/improvisations by Melody McKiver and Jennifer Thiessen, as well as group improvisations. Also, recent/new compositions by Melody McKiver, Jim Hiscott and more. The improvisations will be inspired by Inuit artwork on display in the Main Hall.
