North Port City Hall: Great American Cleanup

Welcome to the Great American Cleanup – North Port City Hall!

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED WALK UP VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED

Join Keep Sarasota County Beautiful on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at North Port City Hall for a morning of community service and positive impact. Locally, as part of the Great American Cleanup, a nationwide initiative led by Keep America Beautiful (KAB), we’re uniting with volunteers across the country to remove litter, revitalize public spaces, and make our communities cleaner and more vibrant.

SITE CAPTAINS NEEDED!

Looking for service hours? Become a Site Captain and earn 6 HOURS of volunteer credit! This role includes a conveniently scheduled training and serving as the main point of contact during the event. Afterward, you'll help collect data on the litter removed from each location. Minimum age: 16 years old. Don't miss this leadership opportunity—sign up today! To register sign up for the cleanup and select yes to becoming a site captain during registration. Max 2 site captains per location.

Important Event Info

WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at the front of North Port City Hall

RELEASE FORMS: After registering for the event on Eventbrite, be sure to fill out a release form prior to the event which can be done online. Step 2: GAC Release Form

TIME: Cleanup will begin at 8:00 AM

WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes like sneakers, along with sun protection and clothing suitable for the weather.

WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies will be provided by Keep Sarasota County Beautiful. Apon arrival, you will check in first with your Site Captain.

PARKING: Parking is available at North Port City Hall. Carpooling is always encouraged!

Info: When you first arrive, please check in with your site captain and network with fellow volunteers. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals within your community!
