Washington Services NB to St Mary’s Lighthouse. Meet from 11:45am at the HGV parking area - briefing at 13:15, kick stands up 13:30. Approx 30 miles to St Mary’s Lighthouse Car Park (free). The Remembrance service still starts 15:00 but if you wish to attend “No Bike engines to be on during the service”. Refreshments and toilets are available at the lighthouse car park site.Route is A1 north to Seaton Burn, A19 to Moor Farm RAB, A189 (Spine Road) exit for Blyth Beach. Follow the A1061 to the coast then south on the A193 towards Whitley Bay and turn towards the lighthouse just after the caravan park.
Staggered files ride, Marshall’s may be in attendance at junctions, no overtaking once in group position, breakdown recovery available but ensure your bike is fit for the road. Obey all road signs please.
L plates meet on Portabello Road Birtley - by the back entrance gate to Washington Services - a gap in the fence - A Marshall will collect you and depart at 13:30 to join the A1 at the Birtley interchange.
Trikes to the rear of the group please.
