Join us for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new North Dakota State Hospital facility at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, in Jamestown.
This is more than a construction project — it represents a major investment in the future of behavioral health care in North Dakota. The new State Hospital is a once-in-a-generation investment that replaces outdated buildings with a modern, trauma-informed facility to improve care, support staff, expand crisis and forensic services, and lower long-term costs.
The groundbreaking will bring together state leaders, legislators, community partners, and members of the public. Additional details will be shared soon.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. at the new hospital site, located directly west of the current State Hospital campus. Attendees may use the current NDSH address for a point of reference, 2605 Circle Drive SE, Jamestown. Once on 12th Avenue, watch for event signage.
