The North County Band is the product of Chicago-born singer-songwriter Scott Smith and Texas fiddle sensation, Cat Lines. Together they have gathered some of Connecticut's most seasoned and versatile musicians to compliment their songwriting craft and to deliver a signature sound. Twice nominated as “County Act of the Year” by the New England Music Awards, they are currently touring New England in support of their sophomore album - “Lay it on the Line.” They describe their music as New England Country/Americana. The band has sold out Daryl’s House, The Press Room NH, & The Back Space with bookings at The Levitt Pavillion for the Performing Arts, The Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun, The Old Towne Crier, Park City Music Hall, The Bijou Theater, Edmond Town Hall, The East Benton Fiddle Festival, The Stamford Palace UpStage, The Palace Theater of Danbury and the Ocean Mist.
Frank Viele’s brand of New England blues rock tugs at the heartstrings, pulling the listener on a surprise journey that transcends genre. The Silo EP, being released on Frank’s own Bigger Beast records (a label started to support and highlight some of Frank’s favorite artists, collaborators, and friends), serves as the next step in this artist’s journey. Over the years, Viele has built a dedicated fanbase thanks to his dynamic live performances and his ability to connect with his audience on a deeply personal level. With The Silo and several albums under his belt, along with a growing reputation as one of the most exciting voices in folk/Americana music, Frank Viele continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be a modern singer-songwriter. Whether he’s performing on stage or in the studio, he approaches his music with a passion and intensity that is infectious, making more and more folks take notice… one stage at a time.
Flynn Ayers will open the evening.
Park City Music Hall has a full bar and kitchen available on-site serving craft cocktails, delicious bites and more! Come hungry! The kitchen opens at doors and remains open until you see the "Kitchen Open" light go off.
