NORTH COUNTY BAND

The North County band is the creative culmination of Chicago-born singer-

songwriter Scott Smith and Texas fiddle sensation, Cat Lines. Together the

summoned some of Connecticut's most seasoned and versatile musicians to form

a team. Each member brings not only their musical talents but a wealth of other life

experiences that add to the project in ways seen and unseen by audiences.

Their debut EP, “Connecticut", is widely regarded as a grass-roots collaborative

effort with songs about the Nutmeg State, isolation, challenges of the modern era

and family. This initial recording release propelled the band into a nine-state, 115-

date tour, as well as nominations for New England's "Country Act of the Year" and

"Rising Stars of Connecticut" by the New England Music Awards. The band's 2024

tour of New England is in support of their sophomore release "Lay it on the Line."

Funded by fans and produced by renowned producer David Morgan, the record

marks a period of artistic and professional growth. Many of the songs are inspired

by the stories of people the band has met on the road since its formation in 2020.

New England Native, singer-songwriter Jason Ingriselli, is a passionate musician with the reputation of displaying a high-energy live show with his backing band The Miles North. Showcasing his powerful voice delivering an authentic and unique country sound. A sound he calls New England Country Music.

In 2018 Jason self funded and independently released his debut full length album, it was titled “The Miles North”. Since then he and the band have shared stages with national touring acts as direct tour support, headlined the local rodeo, performed in concert halls, at music festivals, regional fairs and even on brewery taproom floors. All to bring his songs to a wider audience.

With the aid of his backing band, Jason & The Miles North have collectively developed a following of loyal fans and gained notoriety for his songwriting and distinct voice as a singer. This has led to performance invites with notable musicians across the country music industry and radio airplay that includes iHeart Radio and Music Row reporting stations.

Debut album, “The Miles North” was the culmination of studio sessions in Avon, CT working with Producer Dave Swanson and Nashville, TN with Grammy winning Slack Key Studio.

Also available are the follow up singles “Let’s Go Find Heaven”, “Growing Up”, “Songbird”, “Boston” and “Destination”, a song which made its debut to national radio shortly after its release via CmdShft Distribution in Nashville, TN.
