North Central WV Outdoor Community Meet-Up 🌊🧗♂️Join us for an evening celebrating the people, projects, and momentum shaping the outdoor future of North Central West Virginia!
This Outdoor Community Meet-Up brings together local recreation leaders, athletes, advocates, businesses, and enthusiasts for connection, inspiration, and collaboration.
🕔 Vendor & Organization Setup: 5:00 PM
🕕 Program Begins: 6:00 PM
Come early to connect with a wide range of outdoor organizations and partners who will be tabling and sharing information about their work across the region.
🎤 Program Highlights (6:00 PM):
• Friends of the Cheat will share updates on their exciting new outdoor recreation projects and how they’re expanding access and impact throughout the watershed.
• Andrew Leich will take us inside the epic rock climbing of the Cheat Canyon — sharing stories from the wall, insights into the area’s world-class climbing, and highlights from his own climbing pursuits.
The evening will be emceed by Corey Lilly and co-hosted by The Co-Op and the Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative.
Whether you're a paddler, climber, trail builder, cyclist, business owner, student, or simply passionate about West Virginia’s outdoor economy — this meet-up is for you.
