While everyone's busy talking about Napa, the Pacific Northwest has been quietly building one of the most exciting wine scenes in the country. Oregon and Washington couldn't be more different from each other, and that's exactly what makes this region so fascinating.
Oregon's Willamette Valley has become Pinot Noir territory, and for good reason. Cool nights, misty mornings, and patient winemakers coax out wines that are elegant, earthy, and a little bit moody, closer in spirit to Burgundy than anything from California. Cross into Washington, and the story flips entirely. The Columbia Valley's high desert climate, scorching days, and cold nights produce bold, structured reds that punch way above their price point.
In this tasting class, we'll pour our way through both states, tasting how latitude, elevation, and stubborn independent winemakers shape flavor in wildly different directions. You'll learn why Oregon Pinot has critics losing their minds, why Washington Cabernet deserves way more attention than it gets, and why this corner of the country might be America's most underrated wine region.

REFUND POLICY
The Royce will offer a full refund (excluding Eventbrite fees) up to seven days or more in advance of the class date. No other exceptions will be made for refund requests. Tickets can be transferred. CANCELLATION POLICY
The Royce reserves the right to cancel an event in the event of a catastrophe or should reservations remain below the cost necessary to host the event. When you register for a class, you agree to these terms. The Royce commits to notify attendees ASAP and refund the full ticket price to the original payment method through Eventbrite.
