🔹 Morning – Arrival at the breathtaking Mont-Saint-Michel, one of the most famous landmarks in France and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have approximately 5–6 hours of free time to explore the island.
🔹 Optional: Entrance to Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey is not included in the trip price. The entrance fee is approximately 16€ per person.
🔹 TIPS about what to visit & do in Mont-Saint-Michel: Visit the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, walk through the medieval streets and small shops, enjoy panoramic views of the bay, try local specialties such as French crêpes or omelettes, and explore the historic ramparts surrounding the island.
🔹 Afternoon – Departure to hotel in Caen. Hotel check-in & free time.
🔹 Evening – After check-in, you will have free time to explore Caen, a charming Norman city known for its rich medieval history.
🔹 TIPS about what to visit & do in Caen: Caen Castle (built by William the Conqueror), Abbaye aux Hommes (Men’s Abbey), historic city center, local restaurants and cafés, and an evening walk through the old streets.
📅 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 – 𝟬𝟲 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆
🔹 Morning – Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and departure to Étretat.
🔹 Arrival in the beautiful coastal town of Étretat, famous for its spectacular white cliffs and natural sea arches. You will have approximately 9 hours of free time to explore the area.
🔹 TIPS about what to visit & do in Étretat: Walk along the famous Étretat cliffs, visit the natural arches (Porte d’Aval & Porte d’Amont), relax on the pebble beach, hike to the viewpoints above the cliffs, visit the Gardens of Étretat, and enjoy seafood in local restaurants.
🔹 Evening – In the evening, we meet again at the drop-off location and begin our journey back to Germany and the Netherlands.
