Norman Brown

Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-selling guitar virtuoso Norman Brown has been thrilling international audiences for more than four decades — and George Benson himself calls him “one of the greatest and most articulate guitarists out there.”
Hailed by uDiscover Music as “one of the 50 greatest guitarists of all time” and by AllMusic as “one of contemporary jazz’s brightest lights — a master player and improviser,” Brown brings jaw-dropping virtuosity, soul-stirring performance, and gravity-defying technique to every stage he graces. His list of collaborators reads like a contemporary R&B and jazz hall of fame: Dave Koz, Brian McKnight, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Peabo Bryson, Chanté Moore, and many more.
Expect a generous sweep across his fourteen-album catalog — from the Soul Train award-winning After the Storm and Grammy-winning Just Chillin’ to his most recent release, It Hits Different, an invigorating collection that seamlessly unites jazz, R&B, pop, and blues.
“Music is a language,” Brown says. “It speaks to the invisible part of us that moves the physical part of us.” Come listen.
