Norman at Waterfront Blues Festival

The Norman Sylvester Band will appear at the Waterfront Blues Festival friday July 3, at 2:45 pm. This will be the full version of the band featuring Norman’s daughter Lenanne Sylvester Miller, and the Boogie Cat Horns Renato Caranto and Pete Moss. Also on the bill are special guests Myrtle Brown, Tevis Hodge Jr., and Nerak Roth Patterson. Expect to hear plenty of original songs from every phase of the band’s 40 something year history, as well as a very wide range of cover tunes, including a few that might be a guilty pleasure for the “blues police”. The event runs from noon till 10:30 Thursday July 2 through Saturday the Fourth of July with Portland’s largest fireworks display at the conclusion.
