Join us for a relaxed weekend of paddling, camping, walking, BBQs and good company on the Norfolk Broads. Whether you’re coming for the full weekend or just part of it, here’s the plan for the weekend.
*Friday*
* Late afternoon paddle to stretch the legs and get familiar with the waterways.
* Return to camp for a relaxed BBQ.
* Drinks, campfire, and a chilled evening.
*Saturday Morning*
10:00am – Launch and paddle north on the River Thurne towards Potter Heigham.
Lunch at Potter Heigham
* Bridgestone of Potter Heigham (outside seating area available)
*Saturday Afternoon*
Choice of three walks (approximately 1–2 hours depending on route):
* Thurne–Potter Heigham Loop
* Thurne–Oby Circular
* Thurne–Clippesby Circular
*Saturday Evening*
* BBQ, drinks, and games.
* Bring along any outdoor games you have.
* Relax and enjoy the evening together around the BBQ.
* Don’t forget the marshmallows!
*Sunday*
10:00am – Set off paddling south towards Acle/Stokesby.
* Take a packed lunch to maximise time on the water.
* Return to camp by 3:30pm.
* Pack up and depart camp at 4:00pm.
