Runners-next-the-Sea organiser, of the popular annual 5 mile Beach Race at Holkham Beach, is pleased to have taken over the hosting of the Norfolk Coastal Trail Half and Full Marathons, previously organised by Positive Steps. This popular event, set along the stunning North Norfolk coastline, will continue in the same spirit as in previous years, offering runners and walkers the chance to experience challenging terrain and breathtaking views. In keeping with tradition, a £5 donation from every entry fee will be made to support the vital work of the East Anglian Air Ambulance. The full marathon will start at 9.00am from Holme-next-the-Sea, the half marathon will start at 10.30am from Burnham Overy Staithe. Both routes follow the well-marked Norfolk Coast path, with the finish for both distances at Morston Quay. There is a long cut off time of 5pm, making this event suitable for all abilities, including trail walkers.
Coach transport will be available from the finish location to the start BEFORE the event begins (i.e. leave your car at the finish).
