Nordic Style Open Water Dip at Colwick Country Park
Join us for a refreshing open water dip in a safe, supervised setting.
Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or trying it for the first time, it’s a great way to boost your mood, build confidence and enjoy nature. Come along for a splash and a chat – all welcome!
What to Expect
Your session will begin with a short safety briefing before anyone enters the water, you’ll then take part in a supported open water dip.
11:00am - Meet up (by front desk)
11:10am - Safety Talk
11:25am-12:00pm - Dip
Please note: this session is for open water dip only. Saunas are also available on site, but you will need to contact the WholeHealth team directly regarding availability.

Exclusively for Rushcliffe 18 + residents registered with a Rushcliffe GP.
Only one booking is permitted per person. Additional bookings may be cancelled to ensure fairness.
There is a small cost to attend, which covers the session on a per person basis. This is offered at a discounted rate through social prescribing, helping to keep the sessions as accessible as possible.
We want our sessions to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch - we’re happy to support you to attend.

Additional Information:
No specific clothing is required so please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you have gloves, socks, or water shoes, please bring them along to the session if possible.
There is limited changing facilities with one single changing container. It’s advised to arrive in clothing you want to wear in the water then bring loose clothing to get changed in to after. Any valuables can be stored in the Whole Health office whilst the session takes place.
Please note: access to the water is via a gently sloping ramp. The Whole Health team are experienced in helping people with limited mobility get into the lake including wheelchair and mobility aid users.

Anyone with severe mobility issues can access the car park beside the lake by prior arrangement if needed. If you require this, please contact the Whole Health team 48 hours prior to the session directly on 07813 965956 or [email protected].
Directions: When you visit Whole Health Swim Village, you will need to park at Racecourse Road car park, right at the end of Racecourse Road. Follow signs for Colwick Hall, or use postcode NG2 4BH. The car park is a little further on, straight ahead through a yellow barrier gate after you pass Colwick Hall on your right. You’ll then need to walk around the lake to find us. Go through the yellow gate at the top of the car park, and follow the signs to West Lake with our little apple logo on. This will take you along a tarmac path for about 500m. You will reach another yellow gate, and see the swim village in front of you.
The Wired on Wheels Pink Café van is based in the same area opposite the Swim Village changing area and office.
