Nordic Chamber Music: Denmark - Ugly Ducklings (Seattle)

Featuring two “ugly ducklings” of the orchestra, viola and bass clarinet, The Darkwood Consort will guide us through a H. C. Anderson-worthy fairy tale utilizing their instruments. Violist Jennifer Drake and bass clarinetist Aage Nielsen will perform Danish works for this unusual duo by Friedrichc Kuhlau, Carl Nielsen, Finn Høffding, Jørgen Bentzon, and Henning Wellejus.
