Nora is planning to repeat one of her favorite trips -- to Ocean City, Maryland -- and she's inviting you to join her.The AAA mitorcoach trip to Maryland's only coastal community will take place Sept. 1-5.
The bus will pick up travelers -- and return them to -- stops in Williamsville, Henrietta and East Syracuse.
You will stay four nights on the ocean in the Howard Johnson Oceanfront Plaza. Two dinners, four breakfasts and one lunch with a wine pairing will be included.
Your visit will have a comfortable, easy pace, with plenty of free time to explore and enjoy Ocean City and its three-mile boardwalk on your own.
Organized activities will include:
-- Experience the beauty of Assateague Island and Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, renowned for wild horses, dolphins
and eagles
-- Optional visit to Ocean Downs Casino
-- Travel on the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, the oldest privately owned ferry in the U.S.
-- Tour and demonstration at a crab picking house in St. Michaels
-- Crab-cake cooking class that will includes lunch and a wine pairing
