(Please note this event is at SURSA HALL, not DOMA) Join us at Sursa Hall for an evening with Nora Krug, the award-winning artist featured in DOMA's Spring exhibition "Nora Krug: Belonging," on view through June 13.
Krug is a German American author and illustrator whose powerful work - which includes drawings, comics, illustrated stories, and visual narratives - is inspired by personal experiences and an innate and abiding interest in historical and contemporary events.
Her powerful graphic memoir, "Belonging: A German Reckons With History and Home," and her more recent book publication, an illustrated edition of Yale historian Timothy Snyder’s "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century," are the focus of the exhibition at DOMA. Visit bsu.edu/doma/exhibitions to learn more.
This lecture is free and open to the public with no registration required. A book signing and light refreshments in the Sursa Hall upper lobby will follow the 6:00pm talk.
The exhibition was organized by the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA, and curated by Stephanie Haboush Plunkett, Chief Curator.
